A 10 Minute Workout : Is There Any Value In That?

A 10 minute workout? Are you Skeptical? I was and my husband, too. But I REALLY wanted to know if this would work because, well, gee that would just be great wouldn't it? I know, I'm sorry, I'm not your stereotypical gungho trainer. I don't LIVE for exercise and I'm not that disciplined about my diet. I eat pretty healthy. I'll be on full disclosure with you here, I'm 35, and I somehow managed to allow some sneaky belly fat on board. Just kinda happened...getting old stinks.
But, if all you feel you can do is a 10 minute workout so be it and that's fine. But do something every day. Not just something, but something that is really going to count. That 10 minutes is going to be INTENSE. I don't think anyone could truthfully argue with me that they don't have time for that. And what would really be a ton better is 10 minutes 2X/day.
I wrote another article on a Free Workout Plan that may be of interest to you, as you could totally fit that into a 10 minute timeframe. It's simple. It will still challenge you. Not easy.
One of my big pet peeves is this-people living under the mistaken assumption that they need an hour block of time to workout. I mean, yes, of course, that would be great, especially if you are doing the right exercises in the right way. But why opt to do NOTHING? Isn't something better? I do believe so. Don't use time constraints as an excuse. I won't let you...not here.
So while I'm horrifyingly busy, just like you, I will choose to do a short workout over nothing at all. My body is responding, too. It's not instantaneous results. (darn it! Still no magic pixie dust!) But it definitely is working. Isn't that great that small bits of effort like this, performed consistently, can get your body transformed? Just a 10 minute workout could do it for you, too. Just commit to 10 minutes a day and see what happens.
